I dropped my DS lite in the washing Machine.....crud.?
Ok so i was doing my laundry and accendently droped it in the water, I got it after about 5 seconds,
then my parents tried to fix it which included NOT taking out the battery, and attempting to turn it on with water under the screen...*note this was while i was at school so i had no control over this*
How would i dry the space behind the screen? Theres a HUGE blotch of water...
how long should i let it dry without the battery?
When should I start to consider repairs or a new DS?
if the console was still wet and you turned it on, you'll probably fry it like that. dunno how long it will take, maybe a month for it to be properly dry. don't use a hairdryer or you'll damage it more; just let is dry on it's own. but i doubt it would work anyway so it's better if you sent it to nintendo for repairs or get a new ds.
