What is the best camera I can get for under $250 with great image and video quality?
I am looking to buy a new digital camera for under $250. I want one that is easy to use and has excellent image quality and video quality. I want it to have some kind of night vision so I can take good pictures in pitch black darkness. Also I am very interested in an underwater feature but that's not a must.
Any help?
* great images come from cameras with sensors larger than what most P&S cameras have in them
* Quality video comes from camcorders, not P&S cameras.
So my guess is you will have to decide which is most important to you and then buy the camera which suits you the best.
Olympus and Pentax both make underwater P&S cameras which will produce good images and okay video.
