what is the name of the knots used to make the netting surrounding glass floats or buoys?
I've always gravitated to anything nautical.
There is old Irish sea-faring blood in my family, but not now for genereations has anyone, except me been so drawn to things of the sea.
My present fascination in that direction is knots! I want to learn how to tie all kind of different knots. Just learned how to do a bowline from good old Youtube. I bought some glass floats and am intrigued by the netting around them. I know that the hanging piece is a blood knot.
Is there anyone else inexplicabley drawn to all things sea related??
