Has anyone read Amy Tan's "The Joy Luck Club" and "The Kitchen God's Wife"?
What do you personally think of those two novels of Amy Tan?
I choose to approach those novels as a feminist text. I was intrigued by Tan's women characters in her novels. Thus, i chose this as the title of my research proposal. What do you think? Do you also read these two novels as feminist texts? Any insights? Any personal opinions or reactions? I need to hear more review from all of you since there's not much sources on the net and in the nearest library. Help please?
I have not read them but sound quite well-written/ reader-friendly and could indeed be approached with a feminist lens.
