Softball... Who do I replace my shortstop with?

My JV shortstop/Best Player broke her ankle and will not play. I need to replace her, I have an accurate pitcher but not a lot of speed on her pitches. I know that every player is different and you can't answer this fully without knowing each players strengths and weaknesses but IN GENERAL, who should i replace her with? Im think another infielder would be best but should i move my second basemen over or my third. Knowing most hitters are right handed and my pitcher doesnt have too much speed, most balls will go to the left side. I think the second baseman is my best bet? Also, should i have my pitcher throw low and away on right handed hitters? Just nervous and trying to work things out in my head. Thanks

Second base is probably your best bet. They are familiar with playing around second base already and most hits do go to short stop and third base so having an two experienced gloves on that side would be better.

That's what I would do.

Thanks for looking at our Softball Breaking Strength information.
