Should my tropical fich tank heater be too hot to touch when I take it out of water?
Ok, I have a thermometer in the water, which reads 24-25 degrees celcius all the time, which is the reccommended temp for tropical fish. One of my fish is real sick, (currently floating and cant really move) so I checked heater and took it out... when I touched it I burnt my finger!!! Is this normal to get this hot? The water temp is fine and the heater is set to 24 degrees celsius, but it seemed awfully hot...
i think they fish would stay away from extreme heat
