Into what can we convert a closed convenience store? We want something lucrative or that serves community.?
Next door is a former Circle K convenience store that was shut down by the owner so he could build a bigger one 1/2 mile down the road. He did and the other store is booming. But the former location is prime real estate, smack dab in front of this town's premier country club with 1300 residents and higher than average net income. It is located on a road that has been widened from 2 lanes to 5 because this area has become a major thoroughfare connecting two of the larger cities in this region.
We have no decent restaurants in this area that are open for more than lunch so that s high on the list of possibilities. I'm thinking of a cafeteria to cater to our retired folks here. But if I don't want to completely demolish and remodel, what could be done with a former convenience store to create a lucrative business for this area? We have 2 convenience stores, a golf pro shop, a dry cleaners, a coffee shop, a kids clothings store, a veteranarian's clinic, a Dollar General, etc
Sound like you need a pharmacy, you can get a franchise from CVS pretty reasonable, and drugs and alcohol is a booming business. Legal ones that is
