which camera to choose: * Olympus PEN E-PL1 med 14-42 mm * Nikon Coolpix P7000 * Canon PoweerShot g12?
The Olympus PEN is the best of those because you can expand on the system as you use it and decide on other projects in the future.
You can buy bigger lenses e.g. the 40-150 mm zoom lens, a bigger & more powerful flash etc and as they bring out new cameras with more mega pixels in the future, you only need to change the camera body. The existing lenses & flash will hopefully fit the new camera body.
